My father, James Leavey, who has died aged 75, was a journalist, author, actor, blogger, broadcaster, cigar aficionado and raconteur.

His winding profession path started in 1964, when he grew to become highway supervisor of his faculty mates’ band, The Villains, earlier than finding out appearing at Mountview theatre faculty, then in north London (1968-70).
