Former First Girl Melania Trump’s mom has died, Trump introduced Tuesday.
“It’s with deep unhappiness that I announce the passing of my beloved mom, Amalija,” Trump posted on X, previously often known as Twitter.
“Amalija Knavs was a robust girl who all the time carried herself with grace, heat, and dignity. She was totally dedicated to her husband, daughters, grandson, and son-in-law. We are going to miss her past measure and proceed to honor and love her legacy,” she added.

Knavs and her husband Victor, natives of Slovenia, obtained U.S. citizenship in 2018, by a path often known as family-based immigration, which makes it simpler for relations of U.S. residents to acquire their very own citizenship.
